Our Background

The Spineup team comes from various backgrounds. Nevertheless, we all share a great experience in orthopedics and more specifically in the spine industry. We all are convinced of the importance of the customer and of the service we bring to him. That is the reason why we want to go beyond the usual marketing and communication tools and bring an adequate service to our customers and partners.

Our company culture is our first differentiating factor: we are particularly attached to human values where the Human, whether leader, employee or customer, is at the center of all preoccupations. We also are convinced that the main goal is not profit but the feeling of having done the best job we could, being true to our principles, and that the path we take is as important as the destination. This state of mind is everywhere in our organization thus making it disruptive.

What We Believe In

This permanent drive to satisfy the human led us to rethink as much the features of our business model as the features of the offer we would bring to our customer. In today’s environment, both business model and offer must be disruptive.

We are convinced that the service enhances the product and that it can alone make a great difference in the success of the surgery. Beyond certain product innovations, we will support our partners, and our partners’ customers with completely disruptive solutions to optimize their businesses.

Our last generation sterile implants are patented and use state-of-the-art materials and manufacturing techniques. These manufacturing techniques enable us to offer wider and deeper ranges of implants. Thanks to these manufacturing techniques, extreme sizes would be available in the OT within weeks. Our implants will be delivered in last generation packaging, recycle-ready, and initially able to maintain the sterility for 5 years aiming at 10 years in the future.

A range this deep and this wide would be a constraint in terms of inventory management, usage analysis or loaner management. The use of a RFID chip is a new disruptive solution offered by Spineup to its customers. This chip stuck to each implant box will allow our customers to realize inventory almost instantly, to optimize their loaner offer or to optimize their invoicing and purchasing. In order to always bring more technology into the service offer of Spineup, the team has decided to create Tag Up which will gather all the new solutions that we will offer in terms of inventory management and packaging.

Finally, the Spineup wants to implicate itself in sustainable development project and humanitarian programs. That is the reason why we have created Green Up which gathers all the activities and actions Spineup team is taking around the globe to help preserve earth and to help those who need it the most.

Pop-art Street-art

Often, surgery has been risen to the level of art given the similarities between the surgeon and the artist. Both need a limitless inspiration to create their work. The surgeon hand and movement, as the ones of painters and sculptors, need the same dexterity and the same precision.

 

One of the first ones to build bridges between the art of painting and sculpting and the art of medicine was Leonardo Da Vinci. He was one of the great contributors to Renaissance medicine thanks to his drawings picturing human anatomy. His work was initially more artistic than anatomic but after being given the opportunity of realizing human dissections, Leonardo Da Vinci’s contribution was more and more anatomically precise. His anatomic work comprises more than 200 drawings of human anatomy: skeleton, muscles, vascular system. It is obvious that his mechanical knowledge and his empiric vision enabled him to build those bridges successfully.

 

 

Spineup has consequently decided to use one of the bridges built by Leonardo Da Vince, reuniting once more the art of medicine and the art of painting. Besides the esthetic taste, the choice of Pop-Art and Street-Art is not meaningless. Indeed, Pop-Art, and more recently Street-Art, have been expressions of an avant-garde vision, a window to their world, through the eyes of the artists. Those visions more often than known usually are disruptive, optimist, and of course, colorful. This is what Spineup team is trying to convey choosing famous, or less famous artists first name as brands for our implants.
